Not every slip deserves a ban. Warnings give members a strike instead, and when someone reaches the limit Marina acts on her own: a ban by default, or a kick, mute or temporary ban if you prefer.
How it plays out#
By default the third warning bans. Change the number with /warnlimit and the punishment with /warnmode. Every warning notice has a Remove warning button, so an admin can take back a warning given by mistake. When the limit is reached, the notice lists every reason that led there.
Warnings that expire#
Warnings stay until removed, unless you set /warntime. With /warntime 4w, each warning disappears four weeks after it was given, so long-time members aren't punished for something from last year.
Automatic warnings#
Blocklists and locks can warn too. Those warnings count towards the same limit as the ones admins hand out.

Examples#
Good to know#
- Admins, the owner and Marina herself can't be warned.
- When the limit bans or mutes someone, the notice has an Unban or Unmute button. Lifting it doesn't bring back the old warnings.
- The settings commands also work from private chat after /connect.
