Filters

4 commandsMessagesOpen in Telegram

Filters let the group answer by itself. Save a trigger and a reply, and whenever a message contains the trigger, Marina answers. The reply can be text, media, a sticker or a rich message, with buttons and fillings.

Triggers#

  • One word: /filter hello Hi there!
  • A phrase, in quotes: /filter "good morning" Morning, {first}!
  • Several at once, in brackets: /filter (hi, hey, "hi there") Hello!
  • Only the whole message: exact:hi. Only the start: prefix:hi.

Triggers ignore case and match whole words: hi fires on "Hi!" but not on "this". When several match, the longest wins.

Reply tags#

  • {admin} / {user}: only admins, or only members, set it off.
  • {allow_bot}: other bots can trigger it too.
  • {replytag}: when the trigger is a reply, Marina answers the original message instead.

Examples#

Several triggers.
/filter "exact:hi" Hi!
Only when the message is just "hi".

Good to know#

  • Edited messages don't trigger filters. A group can hold 200.
  • Admins can send a trigger plus noformat for the raw reply, or plus force to fire a {user} filter.
  • Filters you save in Marina's private chat are personal: they answer only you.
