Notes

7 commandsMessagesOpen in Telegram

Answer the same question for the tenth time? Save the answer once as a note, and anyone can bring it back with #name or /get name. Notes hold text, photos, files, GIFs and stickers, with buttons and formatting.

A button can open another note: [Opening hours](buttonurl://#hours). Build a whole menu of answers this way.

Who sees what#

  • {admin} makes a note admins-only.
  • /privatenotes on sends notes through a button that opens them in private, keeping the group clean. {private} and {noprivate} override it per note.
  • {protect} stops a note being forwarded or saved.

Personal notes#

In Marina's private chat, notes you save are yours alone, a private notebook in Telegram.

Commands#

Everyone

/get <name>

/clear <name>
Deletes a note.
/privatenotes <on/off>

Chat owner

/clearall

Examples#

/save hello Hi {first}, welcome!
Open it with #hello.

/save staff Admins only {admin}
A note only admins can open.
/get hello noformat

Good to know#

  • Saving the same name again replaces the note. A group can keep 1,000 notes.
  • A rich message saved by reply keeps its tables, lists and media.
  • After /connect, the note commands in private chat work on that group's notes.
