Set one group up perfectly, then copy that setup to others. /export sends the group's configuration as a JSON file; /import loads it somewhere else.
Moving from Rose#
Export your settings from Rose with /export, reply to that file in your group with /import, and Marina converts it on the fly: notes, filters, rules, welcomes, locks, blocklists and more come across.
Picking categories#
Both commands take categories, to copy only part of a setup: /export notes filters.
Commands#
Admins
/export [categories]
Sends the group's configuration as a file, all of it or some categories.
Chat owner
/import [categories]
Reply to an export file to load it. The format is detected automatically.
/reset
Wipes every setting and all data of the group, after you confirm, and sends a backup. Also /chatreset.
Examples#
/export notes filters
Only notes and filters.
/import rules
As a reply to a file: only the rules.
Good to know#
- Importing replaces what the group had in those categories.
- Each group can export once and import once every 30 minutes.
- The log channel link and anything tied to the group's own messages are never copied.
