Pins

7 commandsModerationOpen in Telegram

Pinning from a command is quicker than the Telegram menu, and Marina adds a few things the menu can't do.

Permanent pins#

/permapin posts your text as Marina's own message and pins it, so nobody can quietly edit the pinned post. It supports formatting and buttons. While her last permapin is still pinned, a new /permapin updates it in place instead of piling up pins.

Linked channels#

Groups with a linked channel get every channel post pinned by Telegram. /antichannelpin unpins them as soon as they arrive, and /cleanlinked deletes channel posts from the group altogether.

Commands#

Everyone

/pinned
The current pinned message, with a button to jump to it.

Admins

/pin [loud]
Reply to a message to pin it. Quiet unless you add loud, violent or notify.
/unpin
Unpins the message you reply to, or the latest pin.
/unpinall
Unpins everything, after you confirm. Only you can confirm your own.
/permapin <text>
Posts the text as Marina and pins it. Reply to a message to repost it instead.
/antichannelpin <on/off>
Unpin linked-channel posts as soon as Telegram pins them.
/cleanlinked <on/off>
Delete posts that arrive from the linked channel. Also /cleanlinkedchannel.

Examples#

/pin loud
As a reply: pin and notify everyone.
/permapin *Meeting at 6pm* [Join](buttonurl://example.com)
A pinned post with a button.

Good to know#

  • In permapins, fillings stay as written except {rules}, which adds a Rules button.
  • Pinning needs Pin messages. The channel settings need Change group info.
  • /unpinall in Marina's private chat clears the pins there.
