A raid is dozens of throwaway accounts joining at once. Raid mode closes the door: everyone who joins while it's on is banned for a while. The bans expire by themselves, so real people caught in the middle can just try again later.
Manual or automatic#
Switch raid mode on yourself with /antiraid, or let Marina do it: /autoantiraid 15 turns it on whenever more than fifteen people join within a minute.
Commands#

/antiraid <time>

/raidactiontime [time]

Good to know#
- Raid mode and raid bans last between 5 minutes and a day.
- Only admins get through. People an admin adds are banned too, and their join notices are deleted.
- Greetings pause while raid mode is on.
- Antiraid needs a supergroup and the Ban users right.
